APGA’S SOUTHWEST CHAIRMAN HAILS SOLUDO’S RE-ELECTION VICTORY
The National Vice Chairman (Southwest) of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Alhaji Suraj Owolabi, has congratulated His Excellency, Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo, CFR, on his resounding re-election as the Executive Governor of Anambra State.
In his congratulatory message, Alhaji Owolabi described Governor Soludo’s victory as “a well-deserved reflection of visionary leadership, integrity, and the enduring trust reposed in him by the good people of Anambra State.”
Alhaji Owolabi commended the people of Anambra State for once again demonstrating faith in APGA’s ideals of good governance, inclusivity, and progressive development. He noted that the outcome of the election reflected the people’s deep appreciation for Governor Soludo’s outstanding performance in his first term, particularly in areas of economic reform, infrastructural renewal, education, and youth empowerment. According to him, “The people have spoken loudly and clearly — they have chosen continuity, competence, and character.”
The National Vice Chairman further lauded Governor Soludo’s unwavering commitment to the APGA philosophy of “Be Your Brother’s Keeper,” emphasizing that his administration has consistently upheld the values of accountability and service to humanity. He praised the Governor’s bold initiatives aimed at transforming Anambra into a model state, setting a benchmark for excellence that continues to inspire leaders across Nigeria.
In his statement, Alhaji Owolabi reaffirmed that Governor Soludo’s re-election is not only a victory for APGA but also a reaffirmation of the people’s belief in the party’s vision for a more prosperous and united Nigeria. He urged APGA members across the six geopolitical zones to draw strength from this triumph and rededicate themselves to advancing the party’s mission of delivering responsive governance and sustainable development at all levels.
Alhaji Owolabi also expressed his appreciation to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), security agencies, and the electorate for ensuring a peaceful, transparent, and credible electoral process. He stated that the smooth conduct of the election has once again demonstrated Nigeria’s growing democratic maturity and APGA’s commitment to democratic ideals.
The National Vice Chairman assured Governor Soludo of the unflinching support of the Southwest Zone of APGA, pledging continued collaboration to strengthen the party’s structures, foster unity, and promote the Governor’s reform-driven agenda. “Your Excellency, your victory is our collective victory,” he said. “The Southwest zone stands firmly with you as you continue your transformative journey to make Anambra State—and indeed Nigeria—a shining example of progress and good governance.”
Alhaji Suraj Owolabi concluded his message with a prayer for divine wisdom, health, and strength for Governor Soludo as he embarks on his second term in office. He expressed optimism that under Soludo’s renewed mandate, Anambra State will experience even greater strides in innovation, development, and peace.
