The National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Chief Barr. Sylvester Ezeokenwa (Ezenwata Umuchu), has commended Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, CON, for her commitment to improving the welfare and economic well-being of vulnerable Nigerians.

Chief Barr. Sylvester Ezeokenwa made the commendation after joining the National Leader and Governor of Anambra State, Prof. Chukwuma Charles Soludo, CFR, and his wife, Dr. Nonye Soludo, to welcome Senator Oluremi Tinubu to Anambra State.

He described Senator Oluremi Tinubu’s visit as a powerful demonstration of compassion, partnership and people-centred leadership, particularly with the launch of the National Community Food Bank Programme in the South-East and the empowerment of 5,000 Anambra residents through business grants, vocational tools and equipment.

According to him, the initiatives will provide meaningful support to families, strengthen livelihoods and create greater opportunities for self-reliance. He particularly praised Senator Oluremi Tinubu for her consistent efforts towards lifting vulnerable Nigerians and promoting inclusive development.

Chief Barr. Sylvester Ezeokenwa also described the conferment and coronation of Senator Oluremi Tinubu with the traditional chieftaincy title, “Ugoeze Anambra,” meaning the glory of the king or Royal Eagle, as a fitting recognition of her service, compassion and commitment to the Nigerian people.

He further expressed delight at witnessing the commissioning of the RHI/TETFund ICT Centre in Oko, describing the facility as another significant investment in education, technology and human capital development that would contribute to expanding opportunities for young Nigerians.

He commended Governor Soludo and his wife, Dr. Nonye Soludo, for their warm hospitality and continued dedication to the welfare, empowerment and development of the people of Anambra State.

The APGA National Chairman reaffirmed his belief that progressive governance thrives when leaders work together across political boundaries with sincerity and a shared commitment to public service. He noted that the greatest beneficiaries of such cooperation are the people, adding that he was proud to be part of the memorable occasion in Anambra, the Light of the Nation.
