By APGA Publicity Committee
The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has congratulated Muslim Ummah across Nigeria on the joyous occasion of Eid-el-Fitr, marking the successful completion of the holy month of Ramadan.
The party described the period as one of deep spiritual reflection, sacrifice, and renewed commitment to faith, compassion, and unity among adherents of Islam.
In a statement issued on behalf of the party, the National Chairman, Barr. Sylvester Ezeokenwa, commended the Muslim faithful for their devotion, discipline, and steadfastness throughout the Ramadan fast. He noted that the virtues of patience, generosity, and selflessness demonstrated during the holy month are essential values needed to foster national cohesion and sustainable development.
Barr. Ezeokenwa urged Muslims to sustain the spirit of Ramadan beyond the festivities by continuing to promote peace, tolerance, and mutual respect in their communities. He emphasized that Nigeria’s progress depends largely on the collective commitment of its citizens to uphold moral values and work together across religious and ethnic divides.
The APGA National Chairman also called on Nigerians, irrespective of religious affiliation, to use the occasion of Eid-el-Fitr as an opportunity to strengthen bonds of unity and extend acts of kindness to the less privileged. He reiterated the party’s commitment to policies and initiatives that promote inclusiveness, social justice, and national harmony.
While wishing Muslims a peaceful and joyful celebration, Barr. Ezeokenwa prayed for continued peace, security, and prosperity in Nigeria. He expressed hope that the lessons learned during Ramadan would inspire citizens to contribute positively to nation-building and the advancement of a more united and progressive country.
