APGA OSUN GOVERNORSHIP CANDIDATE, PRINCE ADEYEMI-DORO, GREETS CHRISTIANS, MUSLIMS ON LENT, RAMADAN
The Governorship Candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in the forthcoming August 2026 governorship election in Osun State, Prince Adesina Adeyemi-Doro, has extended warm felicitations to Muslim and Christian faithful on the commencement of the 2026 Ramadan and Lenten seasons.
In a statement released by his campaign organisation, the candidate described the sacred periods as times of deep spiritual reflection, sacrifice, and renewed commitment to the service of God and humanity. He noted that both Ramadan and Lent promote values of compassion, self-discipline, forgiveness, and charity, which are essential for fostering peace and unity in society.
He urged residents across the state to use the solemn observances to pray for enduring harmony, stability, and progress, emphasizing that the longstanding tradition of religious coexistence in Osun remains a model worthy of preservation and strengthening. According to him, collective spirituality should translate into collective responsibility for the growth of the state.
